Restoring 10-Key Functionality in CICS and Define

 [Printer Friendly Version]

The following steps need to be taken after installing Host Explorer in order to restore functionality to the 10-Key number pad.

  1. From your session, click on Options from the menu and choose Edit Session Profile.

  1. When the Session Profile screen comes up, click on the + next to Keyboard to expand the Keyboard Settings.  Next, select Keyboard.  The default install places a check mark in the Ignore NumLock state box.  Take that check mark out and then click OK.

  1. With Host Explorer not ignoring the NumLock key, make sure your NumLock is ON and your 10-Key should behave as normal.
