Obtaining: First-time users will need to create a user account
By following these procedures you will not need a group code for access.
From an off-campus computer, go to the UT Arlington Libraries site at: http://www.uta.edu/library/ Click on Research and drop down to Refworks. The two choices available are About RefWorks and Use RefWorks. About RefWorks will take you to a page with links for the tutorial, quick start, and a link to the log on screen to use RefWorks. The Use RefWorks is a link to the RefWorks log on page
From an on-campus computer, go to http://www.refworks.com/
Click on user login.
For subsequent use with Write-N-Cite, open Microsoft Word, and click on the Write-N-Cite button in the menu bar. Log in with your RefWorks user name and password. For off- campus computers, you must enter the UT Arlington Group Code first before log on.
Installation: RefWorks is web-based and none is required. The Write-N-Cite module requires installation. Adequate permissions are required to install software and restarting the computer is required after the installation is completed

Known issues: Off-Campus users of Write-N-Cite must log in by first using the Group Code On-Campus users of Write-N-Cite do not need to use the Group Code
