About Dial-In Services at UT Arlington
OIT does not charge for the use of dial-in access. Dial-in phone numbers include area codes throughout the US. However, be aware that these numbers are not metro numbers, and that you will be responsible for any long-distance or other service charges incurred by using the numbers below. Check with your phone company to verify which, if any, of these numbers are free for you to dial.
OIT does not guarantee compatibility of our equipment with any personal computers; OIT will, however, provide information about the communication parameters used by our systems.
OIT will try to assist you with problems making PPP connections to OIT systems. In many cases, however, you will have to refer to the manufacturer or retailer of the personal computer or modem for information on their hardware.
