Wiring Standards Guide

The Specification Standards for Communications Systems guide is the authoritive standard for all data and low voltage wiring for the University of Texas at Arlington. This standard is targeted towards anyone (UTA staff, architects, contractors, partners, bidding participants, etc.) who is, or may become, involved in the installation and/or support of UTA's data wiring and low voltage wiring. The purpose of this document is two-fold -

1. to provide direction in support of modification of the existing data and low voltage wiring infrastructure and
2. to serve as a supporting document, not a replacement, for bid documents and specifications in support of UTA construction and renovation engagements.
