Stay Connected with UTA WiFi

UTA’s wireless network provides fast, secure, and reliable internet access across campus, making it easy to stay connected wherever you are. Whether you’re checking email, streaming course content, collaborating online, or browsing the web, campus Wi-Fi supports your academic and professional needs.

UTA WiFi is the recommended network for faculty, staff, students, and affiliates with a UTA NetID. This connection offers enhanced security, faster upload and download speeds, and broader campus coverage for a consistent online experience.

Having Trouble Connecting?

Start with the most common solution:

Forget the network
Reconnect to Wi-Fi

Login issues often come from outdated, cached passwords. Clearing the old connection and joining again usually fixes the problem.

The start of the semester may be a good time to update your UTA password. You can reset your password at any time using the NetID Self-Service portal.

Step-by-Step: Forget and Reconnect

1
Open Wi-Fi Settings on your device.
2
Find UTA WiFi in the list of networks.
3
Select Forget or Remove.
4
Reconnect by selecting UTA WiFi again.
5
Enter your NetID credentials when prompted.
