Project Overview

The purpose of implementing Adobe Sign Enterprise is to provide Faculty and Staff with an effective electronic signature solution.  The UTA response to COVID-19 will benefit from the flexibility of leveraging this tool that limits need for in person signatures. It is expected that UTA will be able to save time and reduce costs with a fully digital workflow.


Who can use Adobe Sign Enterprise?

Adobe Sign Enterprise will be valuable resource to full time employees seeking signature approvals. Faculty and Staff with a valid use case can begin using this tool once required training is complete.


What are the expected benefits?

Users will be able to send and sign documents faster saving valuable time.  Users will be able to keep workflows moving efficiently with an automated signing process for individual signers or many. 


Is electronic signature secure and are signatures legally binding?

The Office of Legal Affairs and the Business Process Improvement Team have reviewed the planned digital workflows for UTA.  All users will need to take required training to understand the importance of legal review for all forms that are created.  The tool itself is certified compliant to meet industry standards and electronic signatures are legally binding.
