  1. WHY DO WE NEED A NAC?

    • To ensure the safety of UTA resources from devices that are non-compliant and could pose a security threat.

     

  2. DO I NEED TO BE ON CAMPUS TO RECEIVE THE SECURECONNECTOR CLIENT?

    • No, you do not need to be on campus to receive SecureConnector. SecureConnector will be installed on all UTA-managed devices - on-campus or 100% remote.

     

  3. WILL MY LINUX OR MAC DEVICE RECEIVE THE SECURECONNECTOR CLIENT?

    • Yes. The rollout date for Linux and Mac devices will be announced soon.

     

  4. WILL PERSONAL DEVICES BE IMPACTED?

    • Not at this time. Instructions for SecureConnector on personal devices will be communicated when available.
