Program Details
Objectives:
- Establish a basic teaching technology standard for classrooms.
- Assess classrooms/teaching spaces across campus and Fort Worth Center for functionality to meet the basic teaching technology standard.
- Purchase and install new hardware and systems in classrooms and conference rooms (utilizing earmarked HEERF funding) by June 23, 2023.
- Provide responsive classroom and conference room technology support and maintenance.
- Build and deliver comprehensive and just-in-time training materials to support use of classroom technologies for teaching and learning and conference room technologies for everyday business use.

Program Scope:
In scope:
- Inventory of in-scope locations on campus.
- Set of options for classrooms and conference rooms.
- Technology purchase and installation in identified rooms.
- Maintenance, support and continuous service plans.
- Technology refresh procedure recommendations.
- Training materials and job aids.
- Applicable communication and change management activities for the campus.
Out of scope:
- Creation of any budget models for colleges for IT support and equipment purchasing.
- Purchase of student/learner furniture for classrooms
Deliverables:
- Optimal set of recommended technology solutions for teaching spaces based on teaching and learning needs identified by faculty.
- Appropriate technology solutions for conference rooms.
- Equipment purchased.
- Equipment placed in the teaching spaces and conference rooms.
- Established long-term service plans.
- Defined roles and scope for support in teaching spaces and conference rooms.
