Employee Training in Canvas

Employees will be automatically enrolled in the Canvas training based on the employee classification for their primary position. When training goes live March 1st and, in the future, employees will receive an email notification from Canvas. The email will state they have been enrolled as a student in their Canvas class. The email will contain a link to login to their Canvas Dashboard. Upon completion of the Canvas training, employees will gain Single Sign-On (SSO) access for the TCP WebClock.

 

Manager Training in Canvas

All employees who are a “reports to” manager in UTShare will be automatically enrolled in the TCP Manager training class in Canvas. When training goes live March 1st and, in the future, managers will receive an email notification from Canvas. The email will state they have been enrolled as a student in the Manager Canvas class. The email will contain a link to login to their Canvas Dashboard. Upon completion of the Canvas training, employees will gain Single Sign-On (SSO) access for the TCP Web Portal.

 

Timekeeper Training in Canvas

All timekeepers must complete the TCP Access request form for all the departments that they will act as a timekeeper. The access request will trigger enrollment into the Timekeeper Canvas class. When enrolled, the Timekeeper will receive an email notification from Canvas. The email will state they have been enrolled as a student in the Timekeeper Canvas class. The email will contain a link to login to their Canvas Dashboard. Upon completion of the Canvas training, employees will gain Single Sign-On (SSO) access for the TCP Web Portal.

 

Training Questions and Assistance

Beginning in March, the Office of Continuous Improvement (OCI) Knowledge Services team will be providing support for assistance with the Canvas classes. After the April 1, 2022 go-live OCI Knowledge Services will be providing support for training assistance and assistance with TCP.
